First of all, I'm not a liberal. I lean left on some issues, right on others. I'd consider myself moderate overall.

When will people like you manage to explain where we get the money to pay for more people than all those you mention, in toto, have to pay for?
I would cut military spending by 40 percent and end all foreign war activity. I would also return income taxes to the levels they were when FDR was president. I would also institute a 50 percent federal sales tax on luxury items, such as yachts, private jets, high-end vehicles, nonessential electronics and expensive homes. I'd close all tax loopholes for the wealthy.

When will you explain how you hire doctors for prices like Medicare pays for office calls.? Will we have to pay for the education of the doctors that work for the government? That should raise out debts a bunch.
Yes, I do think that higher education, including medical school, should be free for all U.S. citizens. Also, if higher-paying doctor positions go away, they will have no choice but to work for government wages (like doctors in every other developed country in the world).

Appeals court rules against Obama healthcare law | Reuters
It's only unconstitutional in the 11th circuit.

I would also think that it's unconstitutional in all the states that joined in the lawsuit too.

Your words roy, not mine.

Incentives, as I already said. A significantly reduced rate schedule, for instance.

Any incentive that made any difference would amount to subsidizing almost the full cost of coverage. Even obama knows we can't afford that.
Baloney. What is it with you people and your all-or-nothing thinking?

They don't have to.
The way the law is composed, if even one little tiny part fails, the entire bill fails. The Progressives were not thinking when they got in a rush to go over, under and around, the Constitution.

+ without the mandate, it is useless and will bust the federal government into bankruptcy fast with no funds coming in to pay for it.

Default Politico: "What if the mandate goes?"

What if the mandate goes? - Matt DoBias - POLITICO.com

It also leaves the White House in a lurch. As recently as last week, White House adviser Stephanie Cutter wrote in a blog post that the loss of the mandate would lead to double-digit premium increases in the individual market and jeopardize provisions in the law aimed at removing long-standing barriers to coverage.

Well, without the mandate, the whole shebang FALLS APART.

This will be a great issue, again as it was in 2010, to bash obama and the dems over the head with.
