So I am being forced.

I always wear it because I know of the importance of wearing it. Someone shouldn't be fined because they don't know nor care.

Freedom is a very scary thing for people, it seems.

Well duh, but there shouldn't be some kind of ultimatum.
Some people don't want health insurance. They shouldn't be forced to buy it...

Hey I agree with you. I was just pointing out that the seat belt issue is addressed on the state level. The federal government doesn't force you to wear a seat belt.
