There's a subreddit that discusses homicides and all the circumstances and details in the city. A few of the commenters in there were relatives of one of the victims and said what had happened, but if you needed a more credible source: https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news...women/2974867/

Philly’s top cop says she and DA Krasner ‘just don’t agree’ on how to reduce shootings

https://www.inquirer.com/news/philad...-20210930.html

I can share snippets if people can't see. A lot of this circles back to the DA, and I am actually in agreement with some of Outlaw's views/comments (even if she is in over her head).

I know violence is up everywhere and the fallout from 2020 is still going strong, but at what point does some level of blame rest on the DA? What if 500+ murders a year is the status quo by 2024? Then what?

No arrests. lol

Mob rule.

No one killed or injured...yet, but the one at Temple U on Broad Street last week was broken up by gunfire from a passing vehicle so it's only a matter of time before someone is killed or injured at one of these 'events''.

This needs to be included in a "Visit Philly'' promo...drifting events in Center City with a complementary fireworks show...lol.

The Wild West... Looks planned, not spur of the moment. The thugs who jumped on the police car should have harsh punishment, no questions asked. I am over this beyond despicable behavior...

At what point will leaders regain control? I love Philadelphia, but this crap will start to hinder growth, tourism, and revitalization. Major crime and disturbances have leaked into a lot of Center City, which was my fear (and prediction) 1.5 years ago.

What time did this happen, the new didn't say?

Yeah you have to fix the quality of life issues or many people will just leave the city and things will spiral downward. There needs to be some consequences for the lawlessness with vehicles in the city right now. So many people are just flagrantly violating various traffic rules in the city, it’s dangerous for drivers and pedestrians.
