Got up this morning when the alarm went off at 5:00, stumbled to the kitchen for my first cup of coffee, and found part of a mouse (the head and tail) left by my cat on the living room carpet, after he ate the rest.

I don't want to rain on the fun and lightness we have in the Other forum but I will add this. We know you are dating a lovely woman. Many of us have learned something throughout the years and all too often the hard way. Choosing and living with a person who hates cats or dogs is always a mistake. That same hatred filters over to the spouse.

Just because I don't want a pet means I'm going to somehow start hating my girlfriend?!
A "friend" of mine is creating drama where there is none to create.
I hate being pushed to my it zone but when I am there, I let go completely.
