This afternoon we made a trip cross town just to go a special store to make a purchase, only to find out that they closed at 4pm and it was 4:05. Now I have to spend another day this week doing it all over again, except I'll be there before 4pm.
Customer service at one of the credit score companies sucks.
First of all, I somehow managed to sign up for a monthly membership without realizing it or I simply forgot to cancel before the trial period. Okay, that's my fault.
But when I call to cancel, the woman barely speaks English so I am stuck repeating myself numerous times. On top of this, here I am telling her I want to cancel the membership and she keeps trying to convince me to stay with it and up sell me more things I don't need.
If I am calling to cancel, I have made up my mind. No amount of convincing is going to change my mind. I don't need to pay $18 a month to know my credit score changes when I am pretty diligent about checking my credit twice a year.
It took me about 20 minutes for her to finally get it through her head that I wanted to cancel on no uncertain terms and to process it. Ugh.

I woke up this morning not feeling that great and ended up having a rough start to my workweek. My first bus failed to show which caused me to nearly miss my train. Thank GOD that I DID catch the train as the next one was 45 minutes late (would have caused me to be 90 minutes late to work ) ... After that ordeal, my final bus was 20 minutes late causing me to get to work 5 minutes late ... Yeah ... A real frazzling, manic Monday
Despite the bumpy start of my day, the remainder went smoothly and I actually was able to get caught up on loose ends. Made it home safely and just chillin' like a villain

Tonight we discovered that our Tivo recorded all of the Walking Dead marathon it could thereby deleting all of the other shows we had save up to watch. $%&*$ I don't know how we didn't notice the season pass was set to record 25 Walking Dead episodes. Now Homeland, Dexter, Grimm, and others I cannot recall are gone.
