After years of driving on the highway through snow, ice and inconsiderate drivers (who are really the worst part of horrible weather driving, IMO), it gets pretty tiresome. Good peeve, Jezer.
Yep! Driving in poor weather really saps your energy. Being at full alert under adverse conditions can be quite demanding. Consider the risks, the probabilities, the gains and decide!

I hate using mass transit in bad weather ... Fortunately, the worse we experience is just moderate to heavy rains .... Occasional thunderstorms but nothing like snow, hail, hurricanes or sleet so I'd doubt that I could make it in other parts of the country.
I don' drive in bad weather. I see no reason to put myself or others at risk by doing something that isn't necessary. Heck I don't even drive at night very much.

I hate driving in winter! We used to drive back and forth to/from Chicago and had some really wicked trips. The worst of it was stupid drivers, of course...
I love it when the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), put up road blocks and close the highways. That makes for an awesome day. Let it snow, let it snow, and let it snow more. The worst part is people driving SUVS or trucks (which is big in this part of the country), and not understanding that they are not super drivers, just because "they" are behind the wheel.
