Is that on the panhandle? I am looking at our weather 10 days out and it is in the 50s. I am in Eastern OK., near McAlester.

As of midnight our OS-21 weather station has recorded 1.28". A lot of that was hail (pea sized) and sleet, now it's below freezing and we have an accumulation of perhaps 1/4" of ice on the trees. This is mid-April???

No ice problems in Stillwater where the low barely stayed above freezing. So far it's rained 1.25"

I think I am close to 4 inches of rain out there. My creek looks like you could white water raft down (until you hit a tree). I sure hope this year is different than last year when the rain stopped period in May. Thankfully I am not overly stocked with cows this year incase the hay is low again.

Its been raining and right at 32 degrees here, and LOTS of tree limbs have busted where I was today in NW OKC. Looks like the bradford pear trees didn't stand a chance.

I HOPE YOUR ROADS ARE OKAY. My daughter says her Bradford Pears are breaking from the ice too. She is in OKCity too but closer to Yukon. I just checked and I have close to 4 inches and I am near Stuart.

I'm still here, been busy... Yes, this ice event is truly epic. I can't think of an ice storm of this magnitude since active records started back around 1900.. totally incredible. I'll give more of an update on this , the amazingly chilly spring we've had, the rainfall and what this means for the drought very soon. Any idea on how I can post pictures on here would be very appreciated as I took some today. Thanks for resurrecting this thread! God Bless!

Yes any update on our drought conditions would be helpful. I just stopped giving hay to the cows to save some for next year. They are getting grain but afraid of the amount of hay I'll have. The last few years has been half to less than half of my normal amount.

It's not over yet either. They are saying we are supposed to have a repeat of this next week. Winter doesn't want to end this year.
