Back in March, Al Pacino was a guest on the Maltin on Movies podcast and was asked which directors or actors working today impress him. Pacino listed what he called the “obvious” choices like Leonardo DiCaprio and James Franco, but then he turned his focus to Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot.
“And the girls too, all over the place. You just can’t believe it how good they are,” Pacino said. “You see that girl in Wonder Woman. Whoa! Sometimes I’m just home and there’s Wonder Woman, in the middle, wherever. I don’t care. I’ll look at it five minutes a day just to watch what she does. She is something!”
That is extremely high praise coming from someone like Al Pacino, who many consider to be one of the best actors of this generation. He even says he’d like to try doing a superhero movie one day.
