That wet sloppy stuff is what we have been getting lately. My driveway is clear for the most part.
It's nice not slipping and falling on ice for a change.
Five times ol' rickers hit the deck this winter and I don't even drink anymore.
It ain't over till June.

Yes the dryness of the snow here is different, however when that northern wind blows up your tailpipe up here, oh man.
However as I was told a few days ago YOU moved here LOL!!
Looking for warmer weather this weekend, not nearly as icy as the years past. Gona be a bog when all this snow melts.

I went back east a few weeks ago and yup- cold, damp, rainy/slushy, sloppy winter.

Last year I had to use a snow shovel to get the snow off my truck. It was that heavy. Here I push it off with a light swipe of the broom. The cold isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Actually zero is not uncomfortable. At least it feels better than 20 degrees in WV.

I can guarantee ya that nothing is going to be blowing up my tailpipe ~ ever.
We are enjoying some hot tea watching it snow outside while watching "Smyla's sense of Snow" on the Telebizon.

We like winter but it will be nice to be enjoying this scenery again.

Yeah exactly- this was my choice so I'd better like it, lol..

But in all seriousness, when I was in DC a few weeks ago and that snarled traffic inducing snow storm hit, it really made me appreciate Montana, lol.

At times I think we don't know how good we have it even when we are having it bad.
Does that make any sense. ?

Some in WV would say "We are resplendent in despondence!"
