We've had a good dumping here in Northampton so far, maybe 5 or inches? Not sure.

Mine are off completely, but it's bare roads.

I'm heading into the office. It's quieter there for working.

2 hour delay as of 7pm last night. Called off at 5 am.
We'd gotten between 2.5 and 6" by 7 am.
Charlton is the jackpot of south central mass. 7" at 6 am

Ugh. Yeah seemed like my town really wanted a day off after vacation last week? Plus there is a half day on thursday.

Along the north coast here in Newburyport, we've gotten maybe 2-inches max by 11:30am. So far, not a big deal out here, and that's fine by me :-). Light snow is still falling.

I was suprised to wake up this morning and find that school had a two hour delay. Half my driveway didn't even have snow on it. The other end had a dusting. The street was totally clear and the streets in my neighborhood are rarely down to blacktop after snow. There's just not enough car travel to melt the snow like a main road.

So what's the deal for Friday's storm? That's my birthday and I had a nice stay at home day planned out. If the kids have another snow day with blacktop roads i'm going to go bananas.

It's supposed to start Friday late/afternoon evening, according to current forecasts. Most of the snow is expected the night between Fri and Sat.

We got around 4” of wet slop in South Dartmouth. It’s snowing now but it’s mid-30s so it’s melting if it hits a dark surface. It’s not supposed to drop below freezing here all week so this will all melt quickly. And school canceled. It’s a geographically large town with some long semi-rural bus routes so not surprising. I shoved 30 feet of deck & flagstone and broomed off the cars. Everything else should be fully melted by tomorrow.

Its supposed to change over to snow here around 5 pm and snow until about noon, but the estimate has dropped from 4" to just 2.5"
