It's a fairly accurate statement given the clientele at my local HD.

Dispensaries for medicinal were always open. (and very slow inside, BTW)

They seem to be opening today (or would it be tomorrow?) but the one I visit, is curbside only pickup (says the website), order ahead of time, etc etc....

The second wave is coming. Likely bigger then April.
Like in early March, i am starting to re hoard items again.
Luckily i did not become a POThead in life so i have a strong mind and dont need to hoard dope to escape reality.

From Marty yesterday

"Now's not the time to ease restrictions on individuals, meaning individuals shouldn't be easing restrictions on themselves for the foreseeable future, for the next six, eight months,"

I'm a pretty severe introvert so all of this social distancing is more of a relief than a burden, but I don't think people are going to be able to keep this up for that long. Especially without timely and severe consequences.

I work(ed) in a lab and it was pretty clear from safety measures there that people who aren't genuinely fearful of what they're working with will become careless. There seems to be a trend to overstate dangers here for the purpose of ensuring compliance and I understand that logic, but I think on the six month and longer time frame that does more harm than good. It's hard to find the right balance between too safe and too risky, but defaulting to too safe isn't a cure-all.

So Is Marty Walsh trying to turn Boston into Detroit 2.0. Pretty soon businesses will just start moving to a place that will allow them to operate. Plenty of other places in the immediate area to open up shop.

Not this year. Would that be the worst thing?

Also plenty of people still celebrated Easter even in the thick of this. They just did so with their immediate family.

Walsh miscounted. 6-8 months from now lands us in winter where it makes less sense to ease restrictions. You either do them soon as in 1-2 months from now or you'll have to wait longer, say 10-12 months.

Other states are open and contrary to popular belief, doing absolutely fine. Feel free to join us!

Mass had a good run. Every small business is about to close forever. Honestly can't even believe how casually they are treating this.
