Well, we could be heading to a lockdown. Baker activated the national guard today and my boss has called a staff meeting for tomorrow afternoon. We will be calling in. It could just be a way of maintaining communications but seems suspicious. Last week everything seemed to change on a dime and suspected then it was just a week to get everyone ready for the lockdown.

Ugh. Where did you see that? I saw last night that Yarmouth was closing the beaches. It would be unfortunate if that were the case across the board. We were at a Cape Ann beach last weekend. There were a fair amount of people there, but plenty of space for distancing. Everyone there seemed to be exhaling for the first time in awhile; the beach is healing. People are going to go stir crazy. It's the offseason, certainly not a South Beach situation.

I just heard on the news that it's predicted there will be over 25 million cases in California alone 8 weeks from now. That's more than half of their population. Currently they have 894 cases.

That dire prediction came from Gavin Newsome. Take anything that comes from the pols with a grain of salt. Trust the medical experts on this one.

I saw Yarmouth and a few other beaches mentioned. Assumed all would follow suit but it seems locals don’t want it

I’ve also heard we’re headed towards having a shelter in place.

Eh, it's probably pretty hard to spread it in the heat outside. Not impossible but hard. If it spreads there it would be from people inside.
