Rachel talks with the locals and does her research before the show is taped. She always comes in just under $40.00.

Hi, my names Tami, and I'm not a sea food lunchy person~

Anywho0o
I'll be in Belfast area on Monday... you'll see me driving slow scanning the streets for a place to eat. ( I made a rhyme)
Go to Chase's Daily in downtown Belfast- tasty, vegetarian lunches with its own bakery! (No seafood allowed there)

My daughter was telling me about this place. I had never heard of it. Is it anywhere near Alexia's?

Sorry, I do not know where Alexia's is.

Chase's is at 96 Main Street, I believe. They also sell fresh vegetables, bakery good and honey toward the back of the store.

I really recommend it.

Personal stops:
Cole Farms on Route #100 in Gray. Basic diner-type fare, cheap.
Two Lights Lobster Shack in Cape Elizabeth.
Clam Shack in Old Orchard Beach.
Dunkin' Donuts in Yarmouth (no, really - one of the best ones around)

I'll admit it ...it's not that I think Rachael Ray is a cutie ...which I do.. I really like Dunkin Donuts! I love the coffee and I absolutely love their glazed donuts. Yes there are better glazed donuts in small donut shops in obscurityville somewhere but you can go to Anytown USA and get a nice gooey glazed donut and a cup of coffee the way you like it! The new hash browns are good too! God Bless America, Rachael Ray, and Dunkin Donuts!

When I'm working out of town, I like DD for breakfast. The bacon supreme omlette on a croissant is the best! Eaten with a handful of hashbrowns and chased with a Great One.
