The water temperatures in the ocean are always cold. This not North Carolina. Go sailing? Fall in the water? You are probably dead unless you are pretty young.

As to air temps, except for that burst of very warm temps last week, we are back to temperatures which are 20 degrees below normal for the pat 30 years.

I thing this might be the new normal. Global cooling won't start in the south, it will start in the North as it gets gradually cooler and that spreads south over the years.

Newfoundland likes a "good ice year" because many tourists have never touched an iceberg and the locals actually harvest fresh water glacier ice, ship it frozen to gourmet restaurants and the ice is served with expensive cocktails. Glacier ice is sold by the pound, not by the ton. There is a sheltered harbor northeast of Grand Falls, Newfoundland where Pan American sea planes used to take off for Europe. It is called Glacier Bay because icebergs from Glacier Bay Slyfox2 is right- Again!

Here we go again.

" Flash Flood Watch.

...Localized Heavy Rain Threat Possible Monday Into Tuesday...

On Monday, a slow moving frontal boundary will begin to interact
with a tropical airmass over Maine. This will lead to showers and
thunderstorms developing across the Central Highlands and Northern
Maine. Heavy rain is expected to be the biggest threat at this time,
with the potential for very heavy rainfall rates. If the same areas
are hit by multiple storms...flash flooding could be possible. In
addition, a few of the storms may contain gusty wind and small hail.
The heavy rain threat area will slowly move east Monday night into
Tuesday. Details are still uncertain at this time but this threat
will have to be watched over the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures."

I been saying those words for like 2 months now. "Here we go again" with clouds, rain, mist, sunless crap.

I'm getting headaches and depression with all these clouds day after day

Only 7 days above normal this month so far yet we are +1.1 above normal for the month. (Thanks heat wave)

Meanwhile, in a moment of Sunny reflection...71F Degrees with a Dew Point of 65F Degrees...Winds, WNW 10 MPH....

Gathered a Wild Flower bouquet while strolling along the Birch Meadows, this afternoon....Daisy, Yarrow, Buttercup and Yellow Day Lillies., brightened up our kitchen table...
Collected memories from childhood were refreshed today...
The cheery kitchen (painted a Buttercup yellow, greeted us every morning and the french door (which led out to our covered, back porch), lit our kitchen during the Autumn and Winter when the sun would slide off into the Southwest...
Daisies, gathered and woven into garlands that crowned our heads and necklaces that caressed our necks...
He loves me...He loves me...He loves me...
Not..... He loves me not!
White Yarrow comforted and protected us from the world beyond our home....
Memories of affirmation and love bespeaks the Wild Flower Bouquet.....
