Two school busses went off the road this afternoon. No damage. Nobody hurt. traffic on I-95 at 7 PM between Bangor and Exit 227 is at 35 to 45 MPH. This is not a rule. It is physics at play. Go faster and go off the road. Simple as that. A tractor trailer slid off sideways. No damage. No traction! I saw one car on Route six in the last hour. He had two wheels in the edge of the snowbank. No traction with his left two wheels.

Not fit for man or beast out there.

I love winter- but this is testing me...

Thank God for sand so the dogs can do the steps to go out tomorrow am...

At about Mile 203 southbound on I-95 this morning there was a full size tractor trailer that had jackknifed last night. He was down in the median pointed north as though he had parked down there. I figure they will pul it out this afternoon. I'll check on the way by. I'll be headed north in a few minutes. 29 degrees and clear. No wind. Good day to drag a truck back into the road. I expect the ground is frozen enough that even a big truck will roll easily.

It is a lot. But doubtful that we will beat 2007/2008, because of how much snow came that year in March and April.
Second place will be fine....lol

Interesting you mentioned that year. It was a horrible winter here. Lack of snow. Same as this year.
2007-08 was Caribou's snowiest winter on record while it was NYC's 18th least snowiest. (This year is 11th least so far)

Caribou needs 14 inches more to have their snowiest winter since 2008

Might as well.

The record snow depth is 62" in Feb 1977.

Snow started here at 6:15 A.M. this morning. We had 2 nice days prior to shovel the roofs off. About 3' removed and this was the 2nd time this season with 3' shoveled off the 1st time. The wind tomorrow is going to be a bear and is predicted at 40+ MPH. Will fill the bathtub before bed..........need mixer for Jack Daniels' toddies.....!

Yeah, we got a wind warning here too. But you guys will have the snow and blowing snow to deal with too.

The edge of the strong winds is over Western PA now. Pittsburgh gusting over 50mph
