Besides it is not June yet, so this is kind of expected.

I remember on May 11th in 2015, we got an 11 inch storm

This year, I have already cut the back yard grass twice already. I hope the weather holds as would love to take the boat out

Portland has only measured >= 0.1" snow on 6 May days, and the latest date was 5/11/45. This would be historic if they get something.

I have to check Bangor. Most likely in the rare territory?

It was 31 degrees in Lee this morning and it was snowing, but no accumulation. It got up to 38 and is now back down to 35 at noon.

Currently here in Aurora, Maine..46F Degrees, Dew Point, 41FDegrees, Winds West, 3mph...

Dark Roast, caffeine drew me out of the bed this morning...cup in hand, suffling to the chair from which I write..
Mists across the meadows disappointed...Brief moments of sun and warmth (in which one could do their laundry), faded...Still, all in all, was good! Beloved's rustic, spoon carving business is doing so well, I had to retire from the bakery to help in our business!
Love sitting outside whiile Beloved carves...

On May 30 it was 29 degrees on the Trans Maine Trail. We had a hard frost. I wrote FROST on the ATV seat with my fingernail and took a photo. Fortunately, the apple blossoms were not out yet. It was 52 degrees at 1 PM.

We are entering a Maunder minimum. Next year will be much colder and have more snow. It is not politically correct to point this out, but the Old Farmer's Almanac has nailed 2018 and this year's weather. They have the 2019 forecast done and saved. They will not publish it until around September, but the publisher was interviewed on WVOM last week. He is excited about the Maunder minimum.

I'm renovating my snowblower. The PTO shaft is too short for the new tractor. I have four PTO driven implements; the snowblower, bush hog, 7 foot finish mower and wood chipper. No two PTOs are alike. I need to lengthen the PTO on the wood chipper. A whole new drive shaft is about $200 so I found two sections of the correct drive shaft. I can weld extensions on both shafts.
