I keep telling my wife and kids: It's easy to get warmer, just put on another log and/or sweater. It's much more difficult to get cooler, however. When the Summer temps and humidity are at their peak, you can only take so many clothes off! LOL

Can't wait until we experience our first snow. Hired a realtor over the weekend. The house will be on the market in May when it'll show the best.

Here, in Aurora, ME, 4F Degrees, Dew Point -7F, Winds SSW 4MPH...
Before we went to bed last night it was -4F Degrees....kept the heater up a little last night...not as much frost/ice on the inside of the windows this morning as yesterday!
Looking forward to the 2-4" of snow forecasted - NOT looking forward to the possible ice for tonight (we are traveling to Ellsworth to celebrate a friends birthday), nor the 44F Degree melting temperature for tomorrow - with a refreeze at night!

That was called El Nino. It has nothing to do with the alleged "Global Warming" scam. Satellite data shows no such thing.
