Max, Astral cited specific fallacies and linked to proofs. That is not deflection. That’s factual evidence. You are deflecting with unvalidated opinion.

In-n-Out has a line all the way through the parking lot all day long, does that have some relationship to illegals and lazy unionized employees too?

Sure bud. The citings prove his own statements, the statements supposedly debunk the authors claims. They don't they're different true statements.

"Diabetes is a thing" "yeah but not as bad as these other states"
"Highest homeless population" "but not the highest per capita! Liar"

"Something about diseases" "yeah but these others states also have diseases! and some are increasing!"

The rates of diabetes are far highest in deep red states: Oklahoma, Kentucky, West Virginia, Arkansas, South Carolina, Alabama, etc. California is somewhere in the middle.

Another "good one" from Hanson:
"The state has the highest homeless population in the nation (135,000)."

Uh, yeah, because we are the largest state by population by far. Our homeless population per capita places us sixth on the list. Not arguing we don't have a problem with homelessness. We do. But the context of this guy's misinformation campaign in mind boggling.

Of course Hanson offers up the favorite conservative canard about Typhus and medieval diseases.

But the fact is that typhus is still around in places that have warm climates. It has been INCREASING in red Texas as well.
This is deflection, right out of Garcettis playbook.

Refuting lies is not deflection

It is if you’re obsessed with the word “deflection” as a mechanism to deflect from refutations

Meanwhile, San Diego tries to keep up with solutions LA should consider, but hasn’t, yet:

I'm laughing at the virtue signalling Leftists. We all know they'd be the first ones to whine to the cops if a bum took a crap on their front steps, masturbated in front of their kids or if their dog pierced his paw on a hypodermic needle.

Majority of homeless, about 80% according to people who work with them, are drug addicts. Many are ex-cons let out early under some law approved by Gov. Brown to empty the prisons. Mayor Yoga Pants doesn't want them in his jails either. Maybe he wants to turn them into spas and retreat centers.

Now some crazies are using electric scooters as weapons. They are all over the place making it impossible to go for a walk as they zip down the sidewalk. Another failed Yoga Pants idea meant to get people out of their cars.

As soon as I can sign a petition to recall Garcetti I will.

The term used to be tramp and hobo, then bum and vagrant. Then homeless.

The latest (heard Yoga Pants say it) is 'the Unsheltered.'
