Does anyone know when non-essential 40 somethings can get it? Wheres the guidance? I dont see anything on the NYS website about the rollout
My nieces live in NY and they both got it. I'll see what I can find out. But honestly I know they aren't asking people for any proof of employment. The goal is to get people vaccinated and they are very happy to get shots in any arms they can at this point.

Did they ask him for any proof that he's an essential worker? They are not asking here. You sign up online, you go. My son is going tomorrow, so is my nephew and other son is going Saturday (he actually works a mail desk at his college so they signed him up). My son who is going tomorrow signed up literally within 5 minutes of getting the email and there's appointments tomorrow. I signed up tonight, waiting for email to get into the queue. They also said here that group 4 will be starting to get vaccinated by the end of the month.
If they didn't ask your husband they won't ask you. Just sign up.

Hes not eligible bc of his job. Hes eligible due to comorbidty. He had to show drs note
Do ur son & neph live here in NY or NC? Cant go off what NC is doing, state rollouts are all very different

They're in NC. I'll try to find out how my nieces in NYC got the vax.
I dont qualify bc of my age, my job is not essential & i dont have any comorbidity ... but if theres somewhere that will take me anyway, I’m ready & wanting it
Javitts center and Shea stadium are going 24/7. Anyone that wants a vaccine can pretty much get one right now. Overnight appointments are fairly easy to come by if you put in some effort.
