Little trick to CVS - if NY shows no appointments go to another state that has them. Answer the pre screening questions and then it will again ask you where you want the vaccine. More often than not they will show up for your state. It’s a glitch in their system.

Yes. Also have a list of zip codes ready to try..the way their system calculates what locations are near you is weird.
Randomly check every hour or so, on multiple sites. Appointments constantly open up. If your working from home, its easy enough to do. Is it annoying? Sure, but everyone I know was able to get an appointment within the next 2 weeks.

Thanks I don't work from home but I can still check online at work. NY needs more vaccines. I checked City MD they aren't offering. Anyone know of any walk in places giving it? Shop-rite is booked, CVS, walgreens and Rite aide all booked. They don't even allow you to book a future appointment.

Log into cvs website at 11:50 pm put your information at midnight refresh you will get an apt. I got a family member in for Sunday at 12:05am. Plenty of availability. Don’t waste your time with the state sites.
