$4 and change was terrible back in ‘08. Unbelievable it’s up that high again and climbing.
Ridiculous. A lot of people cannot absorb these increases.

What do you mean no hot water? I don't have hot water tank but my boiler serves as hot water source.
Regarding only 1 main zone, if you have 3 zones and 2 circulators go out, they don't service them, they just pick 1 and decide that's the one they will cover?

It's showing $4.099 with $189 service contract right now on their website.

Separate, free standing hot water water tank. Many service contracts charge additional fees to cover a hot water tank. Sounds like you have a coil in your boiler, so it supplies your heat, and domestic hot water.

Meh. Jedi mind trick.
You call, haggle, and they knock the price down to what they actually want leading you to believe you got one over and got a great deal.

Not sure if Slomins does it anymore but they have kiosk at the malls. The offering on Oil price is like 10 cents cheaper than calling over the phone. No idea why they do that but I remember driving to Sunrise Highway mall years ago just to sign up.
