He has said many times how old he is. The bus is rather interesting...

I would think he could find a decent price more in the middle of the Strip...like maybe the IP or Harrahs?

A lot of people know I am planning on moving to Vegas (or at the very least seriously considering it). Not im not old enough to rent a car.

Taking the bus wont bother me none either. I just ignore the weirdos on it. Until I bought my car this past March I took the bus everywhere almost since I was born. So taking the bus would be no big deal for me

I decided to pass on the stratosphere deal. I actually found a deal for ARIA for $385 total, but Im gonna pass on that one after reading what I ahd read here in the past

A majority of the travel deals I have found are related to hotels on the strip (you guys dont have ANY hotels in the other parts of town?) I plan to travel around the city beyond the strip and see what it's really like for locals. If taking the bus is the only way for me, so be it. Nothing I can't handle

It would be foolish to judge a place like Vegas on the tourist areas alone. Still it would be a fun experience just to stay on the strip. I wont be spending too much time on it as I'll porbably be traveling around to all the surrounding burbs to see if I like the city beyond touristville

You're also not old enough to get a room in your name at a lot of strip resorts, and if you don't have a credit card, you will have trouble checking in at a lot of hotels.

Almost all the hotels require you to be 21 to get a room.. you cant even stand in a casino if you are under 21

Maybe it would work somewhere, (like NYC) but I think it may have a tough time in Vegas.
I felt this was a gigantic boondoogle when I first heard of it. Thinking CC was going to be the heart of a Vegas metamorphosing into a NY or LA was well before its time, at best. Basically management forged ahead with blinders on (like many, many other people and corporations) that the economic boom was going to continue indefinitely.

Presumably they thought CC would become a true get away or part-time home to justify paying ridiculous prices. In reality the attraction of Vegas is not strong enough for the price vs. use. Vegas does not offer enough for someone with that amount of cash to want to make Vegas a second home. You don't have the quality of off-Strip entertainment and restaurants. You don't have a real pro sports team. You don't have the quality of charities and foundations that high society types like to get involved in and network with. Classic case of cart before the horse.

What CC is is another high-end hotel in a town where the only real attraction is gaming and competition is fierce. CC will ultimately fail to draw people looking for a 5-star hotel experience in itself, and sounds like they will fail to compete with the likes of Wynn and Venetian.
