This balcony lover would cry a river of tears if this happened. There's only a few places left on the Strip where you can have a balcony with your room.

Wherever I travel, I hunt high and low for a room with a balcony. Fewer and fewer of them today. Harder and harder to find.

Rooms with heremetically sealed windows make me claustrophobic.

Imperial has a lot better atmosphere, and is way more fun than Aria by far. It might be lower end, but you gotta love those dealertainers.

I heard business at IP is actually picking up...they suspect it's from tourists running away from CC in disgust.

Yikes! Who knows? That is their issue...they will figure it out. All I know is that the paint job is friggin' fantastic!!

Based on what I've read in this thread, they should re-theme it and call it the "New Imperial Palace".

It'tl definitely be cool to walk around the strip and see what it has to offer.
I am assuming you have been to Vegas? It seems like you could spend a little more money for a little better room and closer to the actual strip. unless you plan on renting a car, walking from the stratosphere is quite the adventure...

You're right, he does need to rethink his lodging.

He's too young to rent a car, and it's a really long walk from the Strat to the desirable part of the Strip. OTOH, he might meet some really interesting people on the bus.
