i'm getting my last minute things done, new tools, getting ahead on bills because i'm not sure when my first payday will be. i start the 30th. i will try to keep posting on the happenings, i really havent much to say lately because not a lot has changed since i went for processing but i will post what happens on my first day. the handbook says i should recieve a packet with my temp. ID card and first day instructions, i should get them this week or by monday, i will let you all know the contents, again good luck. The Dude

My wife applied for spa attendant for vdara she got a rejection letter on august Then she change her application to spa attendant on Mandalay bay and thanks god she got a job offer she Is going on Friday to MGM employment center for processing and next Tuesday and Wednesday she has orientation I hope this works for any don't loss your hope people

i went for an alcohol card (tam) today and in the class was a fb mgr (don't know the restaurant) from CC... talked a bit.. was told that the hiring has been completed.. I mentioned that my app (even though i am no longer interested in CC) still says active. He stated that they have not sent out all the rejection letters since people are still coming in for uniforms and such and they might have a few more openings.... My opinion is that CC has no clue what they are doing in terms of the hiring.. either hire or tell the applicants that they are not interested... This town is a cruel cruel place in regards to hiring and firing...

Hey Dude,
I start the 23rd of this Month. I called to make sure when we're supposed to receive that packet. They said two weeks from your start date. I should get mine sometime this week too. The operator said that if for some chance I do not get it by the end of this week to give my hiring manager a call. I think this is a pre-warning that they are behind on the packets..lol.
Let me know when you get yours! I have been waiting by the mailbox. So far nothing new.
**I noticed that things have been slow on this board as well. I hope everyone is doing good and I am still rooting for those waiting!

I hope that isn't completely accurate by this fb mgr, but it doesn't sound totally improbable. And I agree with Airics; the hiring in this town can be cruel; also inconsistent, and have lack respect for those who have a lot of excellent experience are dedicated to work hard for a decent employer. I’m sure that it happens everywhere, but the dynamics, hours, history, and culture of this town are unusual, to say the least. I’ve never experienced the hiring process to be this poor in other areas of the country that I’ve lived. I'm not simply referring to CC, but the town in general.

I am open/blank since june to I also applied for a bartending postion its sad if it is true about cc is done with the hireing. Why. No letter letting us know. You would think that they would just send them out in bulk all of us getting the same email

At least C.C. "said" they would send out rejection letters. When I applied at another casino, I filled out the app, did 2 interviews, and NOTHING after that. I waited about 4 months until the opening then when they opened I kinda just figured I didn't get it.
