It means goodbye nice knowing you. If the union is in place by then. You will be laid off by seniority.

We are also coming into the slowest time of the year. With the exception of that cowboy rodeo thing, there is nothing going on from now until New Years.

That’s ridicules; it’s not going to affect City Center. House employees hold their own seniority for each property and is non transferable to other properties. It only takes precedence within that house. Don’t worry about it Tamiko41 and that is a direct quote from Local 226 with or with out a contract, MGM does not use that practice.

To those who received jobs at C.C. I was told that it is going to be busy for quite awhile. First, busy for the opening of a new casino, then new years, conventions and business mettings, and finally March Madness. Around the corner from March Madness is summer... So don't worry

Cool maybe i should listen to you then and Move back to Las Vegas

Do you even know how many people they Hired? the Numbers?

i do and it isn't many i would say 60% of the people are from other Propertys like MGM ect.. they moved them to Stop them from being unemployed.

the other 40% who knows if all 40% are going to be hired in.

Big issue is how bad everything is all around Las Vegas not just LV but everywhere.

With people like Steve Wynn on the News Talking about Tickets how people are trying to make a Buck. cus of Greed alot of people look at him and say that is a Greedy S.O.B. they would never goto a Casino like his cus you can see how Greedy they are the want it all no matter how many lifes they effect. how many workers they have they down sized cus of Greed.

The Dollar is less cus of Greed.
