Many things that didn't go my way I later found out would have been a bad move. I continue to pray for job offers for everyone on this thread.

I finally gave up and cancelled my app. I saw another job that I wanted to pursue with MGM and the longer I waited to hear back on my CC app, I was fearful that they would pull the req that I wanted to apply for. I emailed the hiring manager for an update and he didn't reply, so I finally decided to give up on it.

pizza, that is a good thought. Maybe they are hiring each dept. Seprate. When I applyed I did apply to a specific department. At the time I applyed was in April and there were about 5 departments that were posted but only 3 were hiring for bartenders at the time. The others were for Apprentece bartender and bar porter. They were American Fish, Pool, banq, Cafe Centro, Staekhouse. So I applyed to Cafe Centro for bartender. Sure your wondering what's Cafe Centro??
