That is the plan. The M&M museum is a hoot and I want to make sure we visit it. The New York New York is where we would be staying if it was my choice. I like the casino the best of any on the strip that I have seen.

Before you go, make sure you know, it is Fremont....one e. It's worth it. Especially if you like Bill's type casinos and Old Vegas!
Saw that after I wrote it, but didn't feel like going back and editing it. Apparently I should have because I got caught, LOL

Ok Fremont (note the spelling) St people...where is the best for us to go? If we are going to report on whether or not we like it, we need advice on the best places to go!

There is good reason to keep an empty high limit table or two at high limits when all the low limit tables are full, assuming the casino feels they have a legit chance of eventually getting a player. First, it is doubtful they will lose much low limit business. Low limit players will usually either wait on a seat to open up or simply switch to a different game. Some will even suck it up and go ahead and play a little higher limit table than they'd prefer if all the low limit seats are taken. Even if a little low limit business is lost, the casino hasn't lost much profit potential.

In contrast, the casino's profit margin per hour for a player betting $100/hand at a head's up table is several times the profit of an entire full table with say a $10 or $15 min, even if some players are playing $25. There is also a huge lost opportunity cost for the casino if the $100 player is forced to play with numerous low limit players. So in short, the cost of the empty high limit is minimal, and the profit potential if they can snag even one high limit player is huge.

Just start at one end and walk. If you are driving there's lots of free parking at main street station which is at one end. There are 3 stages if live music set up along the street and the Fremont street experience screen overhead. I recommended the zipline

I think I am skipping the zipline, LOL. But if I drink enough, maybe I will feel like I am on one.

And we will have a car, but is taking a cab there and back reasonable both in terms of cab fare and also the availability? I have heard that there is issue with getting cabs for "locals" as all the cabs are on the strip. Not sure if that is true or not.....

Also, as the whole point is to be able to drink, a cab would make it easier to stumble back to our hotel. Not interested in even coming close to a DUI, so if I am driving, I don't drink as a rule.

The zipline is not scary at all. Its like being on a swing. I was disappointed it didn't go faster
