CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Casinos' take and gambler traffic continue to dwindle on the Las Vegas Strip -- and pretty much everywhere else in Nevada -- as Sin City's latest revenue and visitation figures starkly demonstrate.

The latest gaming revenue news is quite good, considering the state of the economy and the huge drop from the last report.

Revenue is up 2% for Clark County for June. Compare this to being down 16% the previous month. Yes, the strip is down 3%, but miraculously (and very surprisingly), downtown is up 10%.
