I told you I would think of more

When you go to the DMV to change your license etc. make sure, if you are married, that you have a copy of your marriage license. You will also need a copy of your Birth Certificate. Only women need a copy of their marriage license to show a legal name change from their birth certificate. I think they told me it has something to do with the patriot act. You also need something in your name, (lease, utility bill etc.) to show proof of residency.

I always had bumpy cake for my birthday! One year my Grandma tried to mail me one. Let's just say it wasn't very bumpy upon arrival lol...

Problem is, from my experience the casinos have the nicest theaters.
So you're afraid of showing your kids the real world? Just like diversity...

If you leave a CD/DVD case or disk in your car it will melt. I mean seriously melt and attach itself to whatever surface it happens to be on.

Get used to taking a cooler full of water with you everywhere you go or your kids will cost you a fortune in bottled water.

You have to live more than 2 miles from the school to ride the bus.

DO NOT speed in school zones...this is a favorite spot for cops to sit and watch

Many streets here have several different names (Durango=Fort
Apache=Rampart) Very confusing

I am sure I will come up with more as time goes by!!!
It is 3 miles if your child attends high school...

Another one to note is that secondary streets have the same names based on position relative to a section line road. But they don't connect. So a street like Red Coach or Helena or Tomsik may appear 6 or 8 times but none of the segments connect. To find an address on one you take the parallel section line or semi-section until the number is close than cut for it.
Also note that on some streets, [Decatur], the odd and even numbers switch sides of the street at Sahara Ave.

And some adults don't like walking through a smoke filled casino to see a movie either. I being one of them.

If you leave your glasses case in the car, it will melt into a distorted shape. I did this, so I know. I finally threw it out as it was totally unusable. And it was my fav case.

Is that true? I never noticed that. I think you're still in the city limits there too... aren't you? The way you can tell when you've gone from Las Vegas into North Las Vegas is that the street signs in Vegas are green and in NLV they are blue. Or is it the other way around? Hmmm. I've never paid attention to the signs in Henderson. They're probably brown from the manure factory fumes.
