Buzz, I was parking in the lot just down from the M&M store that goes into the movie theatre. We thought we were so lucky that we found a lot that was almost always empty It took having friends come in from out of town and staying at the Bellagio to discover that anyone can park in the hotel lots.
They charge in that lot? I've been to the theatre but I guess I walked from across the street. Usually I don't mind toking a ballet at the ballet parking but I object to paying to park...here or anyplace else if they want my business.

Buzz - I want to know where I can see some ballet parking. And they say there's no culture in Vegas!

In-n-out is an unbelievable concept. It's exactly how burgers and fries would be if you cooked them at home. Everything is made fresh and there aren't 600 things on the menu to complicate matters. I love it, especially seeing them chop the potatoes and fry them up right in front of you. I also heard somewhere that if you tell the drivethru clerk you forgot your wallet, it's company policy to give you the food for free. Never tried it myself.

You're missing the point, kid- some people don't like dragging their kids through a smoke-filled casino, and exposing them to the gambling that permeates the entire town of Las Vegas. It would be nice to be able to do something as simple as going to the movies without having to do that. Sure, some of the theaters aren't attached to or inside the casinos, but alot of them are.

I've got one... U-turns are legal here. There are no proper boulevard turns, and all the major roads (and a lot of the minor ones) are divided, so you have to do a U-turn to get to anything on the other side of the street.

It's something you really have to watch out for if you're turning right on red... people will do a U-turn right in front of you, when you don't expect it.

You have to watch it when you are turning on GREEN! I see a new death defying stunt almost every day. At Caesar's the other day a cab drove on the sidewalk almost 50 feet to get around some traffic - and there were people on the sidewalk. I guess since it's casino property, sidewalks are fair game.

Do any of you guys call those U-turns "Michigan Lefts"? We do here in Michigan, but I was wondering if anyone else called them that...

Yes we do, just look in the frozen food section, you'll find White Castle burgers there, just nuke 'em and enjoy.

Moving to Vegas and trying to avoid casinos is like moving to Louisiana and trying to avoid mosquitoes, hurricanes and dirty politics.
