The tax reform measure that would have eliminated the sales tax on groceries and trimmed the top income tax rate was rejected by the Senate. Some legislators are hopeful that some tax reform might still be accomplished yet this year though.

There are simply no words to describe how far out they are. Even the majority of Idaho's GOP won't even claim them.
There better be some housecleaning in 2016, or this state is hopeless. I've lived here my entire life and, with very few exceptions (I'm look at you, Chenowith), it's never been this bad. The state has pretty much always been a GOP stronghold, and that's fine, it works (works better with a strong governor, like Andrus); but what we have now is just damaging to all of us.

I don't live in ID but I used to work for CSEA and there has been for many years reciporcity with foreign countries so I don't get the fear of Sharia law as they don't have any power over Americans unless they submit to that .....
