It sound like your carrying 100/300/100 insurance. I don't think dropping the 3rd party PD won't really reduce your premium much and then you're exposed when you rear end a Lambo but it's worth asking your agent the question.

Also, if you're carrying an umbrella policy it will require certain underlying limits be in place. If you don't have a UGL policy, go get one. That's where the real exposure is.

True. I tried to bundle but with big names insurances you don't necessarily save money by bundling. I would suggest checking with companies such as Fred Loya & The General. I know people might consider them not that great but they do have decent rates. I know lot of people at work who have them.

State Farm - pretty competitive with their rates especially if you do an umbrella policy (car, home, etc)
