Made In China products are cheaper and everyone likes to pay as little as possible, but when the lower price means lower quality, and even health risks, I would be willing to pay a little more to have a bit more quality, but most importantly, safer quality. Even if we wanted products like that, they are really hard to find these days.

Me too. I'd pay more for good quality. I wish we still had American products.

I hate when that happens! Nothing worse than getting fuzz and threads all over yourself after a shower.

I bought a set of towels from Sams club, quite cheap although very thick and luxurious feeling. They are made in India and are great. We have a houseguest staying with us right now and she said she loves them because they feel 'snuggly'

I thought it was just my bad luck with towels!
I've noticed they don't last as long either, even the good/expensive ones. They feel all plush and strong at first then 10 washes later it looks like a Walmart rag.

and speaking of towels, is anyone else really anal like me?

when I buy any kind of towel, be it, dish towel, bath towel, hand towel or wash rag, I have to cut the label / tag off them, I cannot stand the white tag on any towel.

then I put the brand new towels in the hamper, and ready for a wash.

i will not use any towel from anywhere that is not washed by me.

issue, yes, im assuming i have issues........LOL

It's probably a good idea to wash new towels, as well as new clothes and new sheets, before using them. But the tags don't bother me at all.
