I have a small guest bath with black pedestal sink and low black toilet. The one continuous long wall is totally mirrored. The others are painted white. Over the sink is an ultra modern pendant fixture and a small round mirror hung very off center--intentionally. The floor is white marble tile with grey veining, the baseboard is white enameld 2 inch wood.

I want to do the 3 white walls to warm up the room and add textural interest. I also want to replace the baseboard with matching marble base. I am looking for sugggestions on the mirror problems, and the light fixture, and general style or color scheme suggestions to save this dated room on a budget that does not include re-drywalling or ripping out fixtures.

http://keystonebuildersdelmar.com/interiors/interior2.jpg (broken link) is a photo of the sink in another bath, and I have uploaded a (very bad) photo of the sink, lights, and small mirror reflected in the other mirror. I don't know who that is in the photo.

For a tiny room, I'd go glam!

The bathroom version of this look:

Really play up the black and white. Perhaps even add some pops of hot pink.

Have fun!

Easy fix: Find a color you like, and paint the walls.

Or, if you're the type who likes to change the look of a room frequently and with minimal effort, keep the walls grey or white and add color by changing the towels, shower curtain, rugs, etc.
