So you are advocating violence, rather than solving problems at the ballot box.

What happens when a teacher shoots a student and your daughters no longer feel safe because their teacher could have a gun?

I am amazed at the shortsightedness.

Why would a teacher shoot a student? What about a security guard or cop shoot a student? How about if Godzilla stepped on the school? We could just leave things as they are and accept the costs of a free society. Or, we could at least let qualified teachers defend their and their students lives.

It's not shortsightedness as much as desperately grasping at straws to defend an untenable position
