So many great dinners tonight!
My dinner was a last minute change as I forgot to buy bowtie pasta. Instead I grabbed some meatballs (yeah husband who makes large batches) from the freezer. I had some jarred emergency sauce and a bag of linguine. I found some frozen rolls in the freezer too.
Hubby made dinner tonight, Third night in a row because I have one of the worst colds I've ever had. He's kind of lost his touch at cooking but he did well tonight:
Wild Pacific Salmon briefly marinated with garlic, soy, lemon and white wine. Plain Jasmine rice. And a refreshing Cucumber Salad. It was delicious, despite not having much of an appetite or sense of taste or smell. No, I don't have covid. Tested myself 3 times in the past 3 days. It's just a miserable cold

Tonight at the Case abode: Grilled air-fryer ribeye steak (perfect medium) sided with bacon mashed potatoes. Also had some Lea & Perrin's steak sauce on the side, but my steak was so good that it really didn't need it.
Temperatures go from 40 to 80 within the day. Windy is not the word for it. SO requested comfort food.
Short pasta, onion/red bell pepper/garlic/home smoked ham chunks slowly sautéed with olive oil. Rabbit food. Eye candy movie and early to bed. First video conference at 7:00.
Shake & Bake (with added cayenne pepper!) chicken wings, salad and mashed potatoes. Miller Lite beer to drink.
