Another birthday dinner tonight and I made butter chicken served with basmati rice,cashew nuts,cardamom seeds,cloves and cucumber raita with onion and green chillies.To drink India pale ale.For dessert clementine Torte with a cup of black coffee or Darjeeling tea.
Roast root veggies, some broccoli and shiitake mushrooms from another life (meal), fresh herbs and wilted arugula topped with a fried egg.

We were invited to a Haunukkah party. The hosts are making hummas and with vegetables and crackers to dip. potato pancakes, steamed broccoli. Brisket of beef, roasted chicken, home made raspberry jelly doughnuts and chocolate babka.
I am taking savory noodle kugel, and beet, fennel and orange salad with maple Dijon dressing.
