What’s for Dinner

Baked a loaf of sourdough rye bread today to go with a kettle of country vegetable stew. Its ingredients were a couple fennel bulbs, a few leeks, carrots, celery, red potatoes, water chestnuts, tomatoes, garlic, parsley, a tied bundle of rosemary and thyme, a chopped serrano pepper, vegetable stock, oregano and S&P to taste. Oh so good and mighty tasty. Served with a salad and a glass of merlot.

Spaghetti with red clam sauce and salad. Cabernet Sauvignon to drink and tiramisu for dessert.

I'm having an early dinner with pan fried in butter liver and onions with some pinto beans I had frozen from my last batch.

It's been years since I've had liver and onions (my wife won't cook it) but, following an online recipe, they were delicious.
