Tonight husband making a new (to us) recipe sausage and mustard pie. I found the recipe, he LOVES sausage and it looks easy. It's topped with storebought puff pastry.

Tomorrow (Halloween) family visiting before they go out trick 'n treating so lasagna is half-made today, sides: oven baked butternut squash cubes and sauteed spinach. Tomorrow forecast is rain and 20 degrees temperature drop from today's 80.

This sounds good, different, and perfect for an Autumn dinner. Can you post back here about how you and your husband liked it? I'd like to make it if it's good.

I found a recipe for it on Kitchen Sanctuary.

Cold and rainy here so we are having the first gumbo of the season. DH made it yesterday so we will heat it up, add some rice and I'll make garlic toast from some of that Langlinais bread.

I printed out the recipe for this pie from Kitchen Sanctuary. Sounds like something my husbanf I would both like. Thanks for posting, it's another good idea for dinner.
