Pan-fried couscous, feta, dill, and egg patties, topped with tzatziki sauce and chopped cucumbers. Artichoke hearts, quartered Yukon gold potatoes mixed with asparagus tips. Toss half of the olive oil dressing from the artichoke jar and add lemon juice.

A warm slice of pita bread with ramp butter.

For dessert, cherry cobbler.

I want to plug Centerville Pie Co as a Massachusetts business. They have a wide range of savory and sweet pies, and for a store bought pie, these are absolutely next level! These pies are made on Cape Cod and shipped to specialty shops and supermarkets in the region. Apparently Oprah Winfrey fell in love with them and featured them on her show, which helped the business. You can order them mail-order through the website, but they're actually charging $80 there including shipping. I am sure the shipping and cold box add a lot to the cost, but still...

I get them at the Market Basket, a discount supermarket in Massachusetts that sells them for a reasonable $15 - huge difference from the website cost!

I haven't seen their sweet pies yet, but their savory pies (shepherd's, spinach/cheese, chicken) give me no tummy troubles... they have extra filling, but likely less fat than most pies, as it's more lean meat and less fatty gravy than you'd usually get...

SO ordered tortellini. Mushrooms, peas, creamy sauce and tabbit food. Burp on a cold and rainy day.

That looks like pretty decent crust for a mail order pie. Nice and flaky.

Here pepperoni, onion, green pepper, fennel thin crust pizza

I made five pounds potato salad and baked beans. DH forgot to pick up the fried chicken. I mentioned it but he didn't know what I was talking about. Sigh.

Going to make some chewy brownies this afternoon.

The sun is shining and we're having a picnic supper indoors.

DH finally got his permanent crown yesterday so I'm making smothered pork chops in mushroom gravy, a wild rice dish and green peas.
