All the things that make SO cringe - egg salad with anchovie on a bed of lettuce, whatever white wine I find and all you can eat blue gummi worms for desert.
He went to an all you can eat prime rib and was a very happy well fed little camper.
Back to normal tomorrow:>)

Early morning, early dinner -- again! I did have my sirloin beef tacos and they were SO good.

The first one looks kind of messy ...

... but it was really delicious! I tried a new kind of flour tortilla -- Mission's low-carb ones (they are quite large -- they look burrito-sized to me). I'm definitely not a low-carb eater -- I love grains and noodles and veggies too much! -- but I figured I'd try them. To me, they taste EXACTLY the same as their regular flour tortillas, which is to say, very good! (Alas, they're a LOT more expensive than regular tortillas for the same ounces, oh well. )

Anyway, I had 2 of them with cooked onions, diced tomatoes, a bit of cheese, lettuce, a bit of lite sour cream, and a bit of smeared avocado. They were very filling -- AND I still have several ounces of the sirloin left, so I will have that with my breakfast scrambles or with a noodle bowl for tomorrow's dinner.

Such tough decisions for a weekend!

Well today we started on our journey to find a college for my oldest. We drove about 90 minutes to tour Hampshire College. It has taken all I can not to cry. Where has my baby gone?
Anywho I deserve a self indulgent dinner. It will be homemade strawberry shortcake. The husband is making it. Sigh......
