Ha! I got some of those on sale at Hannaford too. Next week looks like jumbo wings are on sale again for $1.99/lb. so I will stock up some more. Good thing my new garage freezer is being delivered next Tuesday!

I love teriyaki sauce (I've been trying different brands -- used to love Shake 'n Bake teriyaki glaze, yeah Shake 'n Bake , but they stopped making it years ago) ... usually I air-fry a chicken thigh and add the sauce at the table. I actually have several half-air-fried thighs in my freezer -- they let me choose what sauce I feel like having that night!

Oh, tonight's dinner ... canned soup. Not too exciting, but I had a LOT of house crap to do today including cleaning my pellet insert so I needed something simple and quick! And my fire is back to ROARING so I am happy (and my kitties are too!).

I’ve had an eye of round roast in the sous vide since yesterday morning - I’ll take it out about 5:45 and pop it in a 450 degree oven to give it a little sear. In the oven right now is something called potato stacks from my new cookbook and I’m also going to steam some asparagus.

I am hoping I can find aranchini. A lot of bakeries here are closed from Christmas Eve until Monday, including our favourite. So have to search this morning.
I will not be having left overs. It was so wet yesterday I postponed the food shopping and made a dish with black beans in the slow cooker, first time I have ever tried black beans. Would have fed twenty people for two dollars cost and husband didn’t mind it. I ended up eating toast!
