Another hot and humid day and appetite is small...
Thinking to make a mixed garden salad served with homemade buttered naan.To drink lassi. For dessert an ice coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Olive Oil
a bit of ground sumac
Salt/pepper to taste
Romaine lettuce or other of your choice
English cucumber or the mini cucumbers
Tomatoes
Green spring onions
Red radishes
fresh parsley leaves
fresh mint leaves
For the lime-vinaigrette
Lime juice
Olive Oil
Salt/black pepper to taste
ground sumac
pinch of ground cinnamon
tiny bit of ground allspice
Falafel with tzatziki sauce (thanks for the idea, Sheena!), grilled balsamic portobello caps, steamed broccoli, slaw, and because I have some leftover egg roll wraps - cream cheese & scallion roll-ups.
DH called me from Columbus and he bough a bag of bagels, cream cheese, and smoked salmon. I'm making a home made vegetable lentil soup and tossing a salad.
Brunch for dinner, I guess.
