Tonight spicy butter chicken,basmati rice with cashews,clove and cardamon,buttered garlic naan,lime and green chili pickles. To drink lassi with a pinch of cumin and black pepper. For dessert ice coffee with a scoop of Jamocha ice cream.
I think we are on a similar wavelength. Tonight we are having grilled sirloins; grilled onion-potato-bacon skewers, asparagus with cheese sauce and more bacon, and a bottle of Malbec.
SO threw yesterday's surf and turf and wanted pasta with sugo. So today will be surf and turf, a huge green salad (difficult to come by good salad right now), yesterday's focaccia run through the grill.
We had deep fried fish sandwiches for lunch, that were so huge and delicious that we brought half home. We'll have the rest of that and maybe some leftover pork from last night.
I wish I had taken a picture of the huge slab of batter fried flounder, which hung over both sides of the bun....naughty, but nice.
Tonight we're having linguine with clam sauce (also throwing in some leftover shrimp and mussels that are in my freezer), yeast rolls, a garden salad and lemon sorbet. A relative gave us a case of Veuve last year for Christmas and we are still "bravely" working our way through it, so perhaps a bottle or two to go with the linguine tonight.
Spiral cut grass fed kielbasa on the grill, served with normal hot dog toppings, and bahn mi style.
Corn on the cob and baked potato wedges.
