I spent waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time today with alleged Tech Support that was neither Technical nor Supportive.
I came home feeling like Arlo Guthrie in Alice's Restaurant: 'Shrink, I wanna kill!'
Cooking just wasn't in the cards, picked up some store made Chicken Parm at the local grocery that was actually quite good. Right now I'm letting the Cabernet do its thing.
Thanks for the welcome! Ended up driving through Popeye's Chicken. But I will do better! A few years ago I was using allrecipes a lot and found some really good recipes on there. I think I tend to do better in the fall and winter, when I can throw soup or stew ingredients in the crock pot early in the morning and by 5 or 6 o'clock it's smelling really good!
Does anyone use a George Foreman grill to make dinner faster? I bought one but it's still in the box. I thought it might come in handy on nights like this where I need to come up with something fast!

I'll get back on topic now!
Must have aged more today. Didn't find an off food topic???
Anyway we have a baby George and it's only fault is that it refuses to grow up. It still only makes one steak at a time. Now I guess I need a George SR. to solve the time problem. The food is good from it. In reality we don't use it as much as we thought we would. I think it was a gift as I normally supersize things like pots and pans. Eyes are often larger than my stomach when dealing with food and food prep.

I used to have a baby George then I graduated to the next size but I didn't want to spring for the one with the digital read out and where you can set/control the temperature. I don't use it that much because it's such a pain to pull it out from where I have it stored.
We do like to make hamburgers on that though, even moreso than on the BBQ, especially when it's just a few.
Here is a little tidbit for you..............the lady that invented Toll House Cookies (she also owned the Inn) lived not even twenty minutes from my house. One thing they left out of the recipe was that the cookie dough should sit in the fridge for 48 hours before you bake them. I guess they come out so much better.
