Why is it $1.99 there and $5.99 here??? I must investigate?? There's a Velveeta conspiracy going on for sure.

Plastic Cheese is $5.99??? Somehow that doesn't seem right...Maybe it is the rising cost of oil LOL ok... bad joke...

It's not really a bad joke. Rising oil costs are hurting the costs of good food whether it be corn oil or crude oil. Just a fact of life. We all just have to adjust and not panic. I still can't understand such a wide diff in prices of the same product. A semi load of it would not be that much more per carton just for trans cost I wouldn't think. Any hoot it putts a damper on my cheesy cooking sometimes. I went into almost sticker shock looking at pepper jack. I really wonder what jack has been up to? there's my bad joke... Oh well I'm still thinking about dinner. Last night I had my cheese so maybe it will not be on the menu tonight. Maybe a nap will bring inspiration.

Still here... actually waiting to hear from the doc... the pharmacist didn't like the medicine routine the doc put me on so she made some adjustments and I don't like the adjustments... so I called the doc... and now I am playing a waiting game... I am lucky my Mom called this morning and took my four year old out for the morning and then ran her to PreK ...but I have to go pick her up in about 20 min... hopefully he calls before I zip out of here... just trying to sit on my rump and not do much... I am sick of not doing much... because as I am sitting here not doing much for a few days the pile of what I am going to have to do is building... and I am not one to let things pile up.... it is annoying... because I am "functioning"... but if I get moving and begin doing things it is going to be really BAD... so I am forced to sit... it is a bit of a mind game... but thanks for asking... it will go away... sooner than later I hope...
