Most knee jerk McCain supporters on C/D are liberals pretending to be conservative. They're pretty quiet and unresponsive when their feet are held to the fire on Fannie/Freddie bailouts, Medicare prescription plan, and other liberal spending bills. The typical response is "Obama is worse", or "better than Obama", or some other non-sequitor.
