Watch him not give ONE solid idea at this event. He does so well at masking his lack of experience.

Wow what a contrived thread. I guess some here prefer the standards of a GOP convention:

If you did not seek out policy information on the candidates by now, then you are the one who is inexperienced and immature as well.

Here is some updated information. It is apparently a fund-raising "opportunity".

Obama to accept nomination at Invesco : Election : Boulder Daily Camera (http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2008/jul/07/obama-accept-nomination-invesco/ - broken link)

This statement from the article is a half-truth:

With a heavy influx of younger voters and Hispanics in recent years, Colorado, once heavily Republican, is one of a handful of states in the mountain West that have been trending more Democratic.

Colorado has long been a magnet for young people and Hispanics. This article was written by an AP reporter, not a Coloradan.

then there must be a whole country full of them because no one has any clue where obama stands on anything....even his supporters are all over the board trying to explain what obama means when he talks....and, even then, they also get it wrong later on because he backflips.

Hmmmm so there are a alot of confused Americans identifying with a confused according to polls. Even CD is full of confused people from the CD poll. Keep insulting people who support Obama and keep helping the undecided to decide. It gives a great preview of America and diversity under a McCain administration.

Why are they going to a stadium with a capacity of 80k when the DNC is/was broke and under funded in CO.

I cant imagine this is a cost saving move.

No, but it is a fund-generating move.

"The decision to move Obama's acceptance speech to the giant football stadium was expected to boost fund raising, convention organizer Jenny Backus said."

It's supposed to be a fund raiser. Read the link I posted. They will probably charge a hefty admission to select Denverites.
