AP journalist is also reporting that Ted Devine said they will assess whether they are after next week contests. After next week there will only be 1016 delegates left.
I think it's a good sign that Sanders may really drop out if he loses PA by double digit.

the campaign walked that comment back a bit, and of course at the same time Tad Devine was saying that, Jeff Weaver was on another cable news channel saying that it doesn't matter if Hillary gets a majority of pledged delegates and popular vote, they are going to flip the super delegates and win at the convention.

The Rubio camp reiterated many times they were going to the convention until they weren't. The dynamic can change within a very short period of time. I hope he ends this fight soon...

I like Bernie but I find this kind of thing highly annoying. I really need him to stop with this kind of stuff.

He will actually look worse if he stayed. He's going to get destroyed in California and Jersey, that's not how you end your campaign.

Sanders campaign ended before it began. This country will not countenance a socialist because the poor see themselves as temporarily inconvenienced millionaires.

They think the song goes "This land is MY land" when indeed it is more properly "this land is HIS land."

I think he will lose by significant margins in NJ, but by a smaller margin in CA. I don't see that as getting destroyed though.

However, I think if he keeps up the negative campaign, then he goes out in ignominy - with possibly some people voting against him just because of that, but also because he would be continuing to contribute to any possible GOP victory. That would be career destroying, almost as much as if he reneged on all of his promises and ran a third party campaign.

Wow, that Maryland number is incredible! Maryland has over 100 delegates too. Next Tuesday looks to be another strong night for Hills.

Maryland is 33% black and near D.C. where people make good money, especially in the suburbs. That's more than the state of Georgia which is around 31% black. She's going to win by an impressive 25+ margin. I don't even think Bernie is going to campaign in Maryland because it's a lost cause.

Bernie will probably focus all his resources on PA this week. RI is insignificant. Delaware will also go to Clinton easily. Connecticut may be contestable, but I doubt it.

Clinton will likely win 4 of the 5 states next week and get another +50 or so net delegate gain.

This race is over. Even the polling in Cali has her up +12 at the moment. There's literally nowhere else he can get the delegates from. If he loses as projected next week, his final play is to go ALL OUT in California and ignore everywhere and even then, Clinton would see what he's doing and then do the same thing.

Clinton will checkmate Sanders next Tuesday and he knows it...his campaign knows it....Clinton knows it...anyone who is logical and is not blinded by bias knows it. He will literally have no other move but to try to go all out in California and Clinton will simply do the same.

That being said, looking at PA's demographics, it's 79% non-hispanic white and 11% black so it could be a state Sanders could maybe win, but she won the white vote in New York so maybe not.

Even as a Hilary supporter I admired Sanders early on, but now his campaign seems petty and desperate. I agree - he should go out with some dignity, and show Hilary at least a modicum of respect. He'll only lose support behaving this way.

As is oft the case, I agree with emm74.

Polls indicate he'll probably lose CA by about 5-10 pts. I haven't seen the latest NJ polls, but considering it's political and demographic similarity to NY, I think he'll lose by about 10.

But the most devastating losses will probably be PA and MD. These are far and away the most populous of the April 26 primary states, and polling indicates he'll lose by at least 15 pts, but will probably lose by about 20 pts. If his campaign died on April 19, April 26 will serve as the eulogy, if not the burial.
