I hope this thread never dies because the OP's premise is so completely ridiculous. Gingrich would need a major national economic collapse to occur before November in order to win. He's so controversial that he hands over huge population demographics that Romney or Paul could be quite competitive in.

If all the right things happened for Gingrich to beat Obama by 1% of the popular vote, both Paul and Romney would have beaten him by 11%.
